The recipient should propose at least one innovative idea based on technology, service,business platforms etc. for increasing efficiency in Agriculture and allied sector. The recipients are expected to pursue their entrepreneurial aspirations full time. The recipient should have an initial business plan/ proposal for the idea they intend topursue.
The interested applicants can download the application from the website:www.angraurabitpt.org and read the instructions, terms and conditions carefully, and fillit and send the scanned copy to the provided email address. The applicants can also fillthe word document and convert to pdf after filling the application and send it through postto the provided address.
A stipend of Rs 10,000/- per month will be granted to the selected interns for two monthsduring the hands on internship period by the ANGRAU Poshan Incubator.
Agribusiness Incubation Programme provides support to the start-ups having innovativeproduct/service, business process/model at Minimum Viable Product in the agricultureand allied sectors which are ready to be commercialized.
The Recipient should be a registered legal entity in India with a minimum of two monthsresidency at the ANGRAU, AIED Cell, RARS, Tirupati. Start-ups having innovative product/service, business process/model at Minimum ViableProduct in the agriculture and allied sectors which are ready to be commercialized. The Recipient has to be an Indian start-up as per the latest DIPP notification, this supportis not meant for Indian subsidiaries of MNCs/Foreign companies. A Start-up supported once will not be eligible for applying for the subsequent round ofseed support to AgriInvo-2019.

By its nature, the typical startup tends to be a shoestring operation, with initial funding from the founders or their families. We consider DIPP definitionof startup for this program.
Yes, they can participate. However, they would need to register in order to be eligible forincubation funding.
Yes, internship is an integral part of both the programs and compulsory to attend.
Any innovative idea/venture in agri and allied sectors which satisfies DIPP definition of astartup is eligible to apply.
The training will be provided in Telugu and English languages only.
No, there is no such prescribed criteria however the program is open for all agripreneurialapplicants irrespective of qualification.

After the completion of two months incubation programme, ANGRAU Poshan Incubator,Tirupati will forward the proposal of selected startups to the Ministry of Agriculture,Government of India, for funding.
Start-ups showing some growth in the period of two months and which can stand on theparameters of the selection of RAFTAAR-Incubation Committee (RIC) of ANGRAUPoshan Incubator, Tirupati will be recommended to Ministry of Agriculture, Governmentof India, for funding.
Under Agripreneurship Orientation Programme selected applicants will receive 90% ofthe project cost as financial aid (Upto maximum Rs. 5 lakhs) and balance amount of10% should be borne by the applicant. While under Startup Agri-Business IncubationProgramme selected applicants will receive 85% of the project cost as financial aid(Upto maximum Rs. 25 lakhs) and the balance amount of 15% should be borne by theapplicant.
Fund will be disbursed to selected candidates in two tranches of 60% and 40%.
Fund will be disbursed to selected Startups in three tranches of 40 %, 40%, and 20%.

As per Ministry of Commerce and Industry (Department for Promotion of Industry
and Internal Trade), New Delhi, Gazette Notification dated 19th February, 2019:
An entity shall be considered as a Start-up:
i. Upto a period of ten years from the date of incorporation/ registration, if it is
incorporated as a private limited company (as defined in the Companies Act, 2013) or
registered as a partnership firm (registered under section 59 of the Partnership Act,
1932) or a limited liability partnership (under the Limited Liability Partnership Act,
2008) in India.
ii. Turnover of the entity for any of the financial years since incorporation/
registration has not exceeded one hundred crore rupees.
iii. Entity is working towards innovation, development or improvement of products or
processes or services, or if it is a scalable business model with a high potential of
employment generation or wealth creation. Provided that an entity formed by splitting
up or reconstruction of an existing business shall not be considered a ‘Startup’.

While under Startup Agri-Business Incubation Programme (SAIP) selected start-ups will receive financial aid (Upto a maximum Rs. 25 lakhs) and an amount of 15% of the project cost should be borne by the Start-up.
